An element of Aida's Pandemic Mausoleum installation for disCONNECT had taken up residence not just in the period home of Schoeni Projects LDN, and Hysan Place, Urban Sky in Hong Kong, but also on the streets of Hackney, London.
"The Lock-down slowed a lot of people down and many got back in touch with nature and the more simple things in life, especially on their golden hour of “daily exercise” allowance - I had called this “Notice What You Never Had Noticed Before” syndrome. Some people noticed the birds, bees and the flowers and some of us, notice road signs around the corner from our house that we may have passed a thousand times before & this was one of those signs…. Changed Priorities Ahead!" - Aida Wilde
