Alexandre Farto aka VHILS, 'Omnipresence Series #02', Hand-carved Old Wooden Doors, 241 x 175.5 cm (2020) at The Museum of the former German Governor’s residence, Tsing Tao, China. This specially commissioned artwork during the height of the pandemic for disCONNECT (2020) has travelled far. The portrait was carved directly onto the original doors of the library of the house in London, but due to travel restrictions, they were trucked from London to Vhils’ studio in Lisbon, trucked back to London installed and then shipped by air to Hong Kong for disCONNECT LDN.
