In collaboration with Arts for Good Foundation and The Society for Community Organization (SoCO), Schoeni Projects organises and sponsors community-based art programme Community Tour & Storytelling through Photography in 2021 summer. The intention is to engage students to experience the vivid scenes of the community in the Sham Shui Po neighbourhood through hands-on-making, and ultimately cultivate compassion for the neighbourhood and strengthen a stronger sense of belonging to their community. It is a three-day programme that involves 5 enthusiastic community ambassadors and 5 community explorers (10 students in total) in the process of art-making to seek various perspectives of understanding a local community Sham Shui Po.

Each student created an album with their film photos. Based on descriptions of works, they discussed and generated 3 keywords for each album. Then, students got into pairs and chose 5 favourite photos of their partner. Under the guidance of the community researcher, they consolidated their findings and were able to connect some interesting ideas in their works and explore the relationship between the photograger and the object.
